TAR'I is a guardian of nature. One of the famed SILVER ELVES, she made her home in Glimmerdale, a village deep within the vast forest known as Whisperwood. Although small, Glimmerdale was a very significant place in Elven society. Built among the RUINS OF TARIS'HOL, the ancient resting place of the High Elven race that had made its home there ten thousand years before, Glimmerdale was considered to be a spiritual link between the SILVER ELVES and the wisdom of their High Elven ancestors.

TAR'I studied the ways of her druidic order diligently and was extremely gifted in communicating with the elemental spirits, plants and animals. TAR'I was especially fond of a friendship she had formed with a Bluebird that she named Wyndedancer. One bright afternoon, Wyndedancer flew frantically into Glimmerdale to warn TAR'I that dozens of creatures were approaching. TAR'I informed her elders, but before the SILVER ELVES could prepare, a large group of SAURIAN MARAUDERS stormed the village.

The SAURIAN MARAUDERS were led by their most powerful Shamans. These unholy mystics used their magic to disrupt the sanctity of the ruins. The spirits of the long dead High Elves were tainted and became powerful wraiths that erupted from their sacred resting place. Under the command of the Saurian shamans, the wraiths began to lay waste to the inhabitants of Glimmerdale. But they were thwarted.

In a bright flash of luminescent energy, a tall man with flowing blonde hair appeared. He raised his hands and a powerful magical wind rushed through the forest. The gust of wind carried sand and debris that tore at the shamans and interrupted their necromantic spells. In that moment the wraith attacks were halted. Before the reptilian shamans could regain control of their undead servants, the Silver Elves had begun descending on them. The tide quickly turned and the Saurian Marauders were routed. But the damage was done. Thousands died and the ruins of Taris'Hol were barren of spiritual energy. The last remnants of the High Elven Society were no more.

TAR'I wept that day, but as she looked up to the heavens for guidance, she found herself staring at the human that had appeared to help them in their time of need. He introduced himself as the “ORACLE”. She thanked him for his assistance in saving her people. He smiled and said “I was not here to save them, I came to find you”. Just then, TAR'I'S bluebird flew down from the trees and landed on the ORACLE'S shoulder. TAR'I looked at Wyndedancer. Never before had her avian friend interacted with anyone other than her in this manner. The bird began cheerfully chirping and it was that moment that TAR'I knew this ORACLE was someone who could be trusted.
